Anyone have Samsung laser printer burning paper?

I have a Samsung ML2851ND that is scorching the paper whenever it gets a paper jam which is frequent. Samsung won't honor warranty and blames scorching on the fact that we use printer paper that is 10% recycled. Does anyone know if this a common problem or if I'm getting jerked around by Samsung?

1. Paper can be an issue on some and getting caught in the fuser will scorch the page. First question would be are you using a laser paper or multi-purpose? Multipurpose papers are often a little rough (to suit inkjets) and will bind up in a high speed laser. Try another paper, you can use a recycled stock, however get one designed for use in laser printers only. If you are still having a problem then you should have a talk with Samsung.
