I have a Laser jet HP printer and it suppose to print legal size forms. But, feeder can't pickup paper.?

- There could be a number of reasons for this: 1. Check that there isn't any paper jammed in the unit. If your printer has several trays, take them all out and inspect the tray bays for any paper that might have been obstructing the legal tray. 2. Check the tray itself. If it's one of those trays that can take both legal and letter size paper, there may be a dial or switch on it that needs to be turned or switched. 3. If it can't pick up legal size paper but it can pick up letter size, it may be a paper issue. Perhaps the paper is lighter than your letter size paper, in which case, the pickup rollers may be having a hard time gripping the paper and separating it from the rest of the stack. 4. Check the settings on the program you're using. It may be that your program is sending a command to the printer to print on letter size paper, and if the printer doesn't have that installed, it may return an error.
