I can't find the software for my HP laser Jet 4 on my operating system Windows XP 2002?

I am running a windows Xp version 2002. The problem started when I tried to iupgrade to service pack 2. The installation could not complete after many trial. Had to reintall my former version. After installation, i could not install HP laser Jet 4 on the add printer wizard. When I tried, I saw "Unable to find any driver for this device. Consult your printer documentation for compatable software" I bought the printer many years ago. I can't seem to find the documentation any longer. I have tried HP website but could not find the software for my specific printer Laser jet. How do I make this printer work with my system? My sysem is Pentium 111, 800MHZ , 240 Mb of Ram.

1. use the driver disk that mustve come with the printer.
2. thats coz you have'nt installed it.find your HP printer installation CD and install it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. You will get the driver at this site "http://download.ust.hk/drivers/" and its instructions at "http://www.visual.co.uk/printersetup.asp". However, if you have the driver CD which came bundled with your printer, then use it rather than downloading it from the internet, unless you have lost the CD.
