How can i connect a HP Laser Jet Printer to 5 pc's?

1 PC is in office room, 2 of the PC's are in training room and rest of them in lab. I have HP Laser Jet 2727 nf printer in the training area, how can i connect this to all of the PC's.

  1. You need to network it. Get it working on one computer, then share it through your network to the rest of the computers. I would google or yahoo search "printer sharing" to find out how.
  2. Attach it to one PC and share it. Or does your version of the 2727 have an Ethernet connection in the back? If so your could attach it right to you network.   3. if you are on a network Go to start > settings > printers > right click on the printer > click on sharing > click on share this printer etc. Now you can got to each computer and install a shared printer and browse to your printer and if you wish make it the default printer for each computer or not.
  4. Buy a Jet Direct box to put the printer on your network. HP sell those, and they are easy enough to configure.
  5. Best would be to add all the PCs to a common network. Add the printer driver on all the PCs and load it as a network printer. Then select the icon of the printer in the PC where it is actually connected. Right Click on it and choose sharing. then give it a shared name. This printer can now be accessed by the network as a shared device from all other computers.
