How would one go about Finding out What Parts are Compatible With My Motherboard.?
I have an HP 515n with a Trigem GL VE 2002052 Motherboard But it is no longer available. I need to add a video Card PCI is what i was told but all computer stores try to get you to but the most expensive items they sell. Or they want you to bring it to them & let them fix it.I can do the repair myself but I want to buy the item on ebay or newegg and i am not sure how you know what warts wil work and which ones won't

- read your motherboards manual and you will know everything. if you dont have one then go for it in your motherboards site. I would recommend you to go now then to rely on others coz nothing would be as good as self survey.
- HP Pavilion 515n CHAINTECH GSP5200T2 GeForce FX 5200 128MB 64-bit DDR PCI Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814145136 HP Pavilion 515n has: Front Side Bus Freq. 400 MHz Chipset name 845GL This is old technology. I would put the money towards buying an up to date system.
- The specifications for your machines can be found at the links below. I would print it out and take it with you to the local somputer shop. Show it to the tech support / computer sales guy and informed them that you are not in the market for anything on the high end products.
