Can I download a printer install disc from HP?
I lost the install disk to my HP printer and I need to know if the files they have available to download from HP are the same ones that are found on the missing disk. It's an older printer (2001) so there are a ton of available downloads for it. Check out how many http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=29790&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=29789&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=228 Which one is the right one? I really don't want to order a new disc and HP charges $40 for a tech support call. Can you help? The OS is Windows XP. The printer is a Laserjet 1200... with no letters. Thanks for your help.

- check label on the back or base of your printer, for the correct and complete serial number, printer series / model etc. and download appropriate drivers from HP site. OR, Try this, http://www.driverfiles.net/Printers/Hewlett-Packard-(HP)/laserjet-1200-series/download/page,sh,22725,436,12,.html http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SCANNER-Digital-CAMERA-WEBCAM/HP/Hp-LaserJet-1200-1220-432208.shtml Alternatively download item no.3-6 from hp driver download list,to select which one works for your printer.
