  1. cold air intake, exhaust system, intake and exhaust headers, better spark plugs, better parts in fuel system. go to a website like jcwhitney, parts train, parts america, etc. and see what they have. look under the performance parts section
  2. THe best way to increase Hp is to increase usable air flow. I say usable because by only adding headers, exhaust, or intake, your car can only utilize the extra air flow at the redline. If you add those things, you should have your ECU remapped, this will allow that extra air flow to be utilized early in the RPM range. In my 1998 BMW 328is (2.8L I6), i added a K&N intake and gained 9hp at the redline. After I had my ECU remapped by the guys at Speed Tuning USA ($200), I gained 27hp and 23 ft lbs of torque, mainly in the low to mid range RPMs. If you were to add an intake, exhaust, headers, and ECU remapping to your V8, you could expect to gain anywhere from 45-60 hp. I'll include the link for the guys at Speed Tuning USA, Oliver is extremely helpful and very knowledgable, I would recommend them to anyone! My friend brought his 02 mustang's ecu there, and he gained 22 hp from the stock setup! Hope this helps!
  3. Your car has ether a 3.27 or 3.55 rear-end gear. One the cheapest upgrades is changing it to 3.73 gear. Only downside is that if it a auto trans you will have to get a Predator programmer because it it will mess up your trans shifting with out programmer.
  4. Under drive pulleys worked wonders for my 04 GT. The Super Chips tuner knocked off a couple of tenths in the quarter also. For the amount of work required for headers (dropping the lower front suspension and K-member), shorties just aren't worth the effort. Long tubes would be better, but then you need a different mid-pipe, more money.
  5. Set of 4:10 gears, Cold Air Intake, Full Exhaust (Longtube Headers, Midpipe, Catback) Throttle Body and Plenum, Underdrive Pulley's....these are all major "bolt-on's" you can do. If your looking for some more power and staying N/A (naturally aspirated) you could get a set of stage 3 cams, port and polish the heads stage 3, valve job. Also suspension is vital to get your power to the ground. Upper and Lower control arms, sticky tires, drag radials, sub frame connectors, shocks, and struts will help you out big time. If your looking to make some real power your gonna need a power added like nitrous, supercharger, or a twin turbo. Remember porting heads and intake yeilds higher gains on a supercharged car. Biggest bang for your buck mod on these cars is a supercharger by far. Oh and if your going supercharger get 3:73 gears. OH AND A TUNE! Remember the stock bottom end is only supporting of around 450 hp so after that you may need to forge your bottom end.
