  1. YES!
  2. yes, normally something like that would be around 1100 or 1200, but if you're using this for a few years, then its perfect :)
  3. You can get all of that for $1.1k if you built it yourself, and that's rare to have it so close. Awesome deal, seal it =)
  4. Seems good. But personally..I'm not a big fan of Vista.
  5. Yeah! The fact you are getting the Monitor, TV Tuner, AND Office Home and Student. That makes up for the whole thing! Processor - 190 Memory - 60 Video - 110 HDD - 70 Drive - 25 TV Tuner - 75 Office Home - 95 Speakers - 20 Misc - 30 Monitor - 150 Vista - 300 That equals = 1200. Built yourself. Now, it is sometimes a pain to build yourself. Plus, NO additional warranty. So yeah, it is good. That will last you 7-10 years. (I still use my old P4 3.0Ghz, and I don't see any reason to upgrade yet)
  6. That's a fantastic PC you've got there! ;),. ...it should last you longer than five years if anything. The spec is very similar to the one i want to get>http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/catalogId/1500001151/partNumber/5080458.htm I would 100% go for that PC! ;)
  7. Everything looks "too good" except the hard drive and the LCD......Personally..I will save the money on everything else and get a bigger LCD (like 21" or larger" and an external HD (for backup). Most users have no need for a "quad" processor..unless you are a gamer or graphic designer or videographer (editor)..... I personally still uses a sinal CPU Processor from few years back...with a 32" LCD and over 1TB of Internal Hard Disks and more than 1.5 TB of external Hard disks..... I can fill up 500 GB of space in like 1 week.......
  8. The only way to ensure that your computer will last is to take care of it. The software and specs of a computer will only show how well it will handle certain programs. If you want a computer to last I recommend you do monthly virus checks, and "defrag" your hardrive monthly too. It would be wise of you to also check for Spyware and Adware and remove that monthly as well. You should also limit the amount of unsafe sites you visit with your computer as well to limit any viruses that may take place. Computers will generally last longer than five years if you take care of it properly.
