HP 4100 toner suggestions? Vertbatim VS Rosewill VS HP original.?

Hi, I need to buy a toner for HP 4100 laserjet. I found HP toners that go for about $150 + (10,000 yield). Also found Verbatim and Rosewill toners,(C8061X) for the same model, going for about $55. Prices from newegg.com. Is there any actual difference between the original HP vs say Rosewill? Rosewill claims to meet or exceed the quality and such. Also, any suggested sites to buy the toners from? Thanks.

1. Unless you're referring to toner which produces photographic quality prints, you may be able to settle for a third party brand or a refurbished toner cartridge. You could save quite a bit of money this way, especially if you plan to make regular purchases. These off-brands and refilled cartridges won't compromise quality too much, and should not hurt your printer in any way. Depending on where you reside, you may be able to find a local shop that provides these cartridges and save on shipping. I suggest you read more about these printers and look at your priorities. Can they print duplex? Do they have large trays? Multiple trays? Can they collate? 3-hole punch? staple? How fast does it print?
2. It all depends on the brand of third party toner you buy. Some third party company toner products are better than others. As for the price you get what you pay for. I work in IT and we all ways try to use third party toner cartage's cause their cheaper than the originals. Some toners brands are better than others. If you can get it for $55 than go for it. you can buy almost 3 for the price of 1 Original.
