My Epson RX620 printer needs COLOR?! For Black and White!!!?

I am trying to print a black and white document on my Epson RX620 printer and it says I am out of yellow. I don't NEED yellow ink...so I don't see the problem. I am wondering how to get around this...I've been trying for twenty minutes!!!

1. you can't get around it. you actually do need yellow because the printer uses a combination of all the inks to create the necessary color for your print. i'm guessing you're printing a document. there is a great way around this. invest in a cheap laser printer (about $125). it uses single color toner and lasts forever. inkjet cartridges dry up quickly if not used or cleaned on a regular basis.
