Epson 777 Color Printer Question?

Does the power cord remove from the back of it? It's a gray cord and it's in there pretty tight. Please help!!!

So apparently it came that way and perhaps isn't meant to unplug, ordinarily. Open it up and see whether it's secured from the other side. I'm sure it *can* be removed, if you're determined enough.
