How good of quality are Toshiba and HP Pavilion Laptops?

looking at both of them, HP Pavilion G50-108NR 15.4" Widescreen Laptop (G50-108NR) and Toshiba - Satellite Laptop with AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60

1. I'd go with the HP since it's the Intel platform. Even though I usually prefer Toshiba, I have not been impressed with the reliability of laptop motherboards that support the Turion processor. But that's just me. The Toshiba may end up being the more reliable in the end. You can never really tell with brand new computers.
2. I have a Toshiba Satellite with Intel for two years. The screen is now acting up and I have to use a desktop monitor hooked to the laptop. I won't be getting a Toshiba again. I had heard they had problems with their screens, but I bought it anyway. Ah, well...live and learn. I'd go with the HP.
