How to print on a Brother printer?

I am unsure how to print on a Brother printer. In the user manual, it says to look at the CD-ROM which was supplied, but my computer failed to recognize it. Anyone know how to print? I use a MFC 240-C

1. my printer is the same as yours...i just bought mine last august from bestbuy. Anyways, if your computer doesn't want to recognize the CD, you can't do printing...what does it says? Is your computer is window vista or XP? you must bring that back to the store for the replacement...
