  1. Vista Home Basic?! WTF are you thinking?! Get at least Vista Home Premium. Home Basic is missing all the junk that makes Vista good, including stuff for gaming. You're also better off getting one good video card (like the GeForce 260 GTX) than two of those crappy video cards. You're also missing RAM and a power supply.
  2. it reall doesnt matter what os you have just that it supports your hardware and your need. Make sure your os is 64 bit so it supports all of your ram including the one on your video card (32bit only supports up to 3gb) other than that its all good except you need a power supply this is a good one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006 (ignore what Mercuri said you have a great video card that will last a few years before it becomes obsolete, and the bundle you mentioned comes with ram) its going to make for a great rig btw
  3. Looks good to me. The first guy didn't pay attention to your parts. You have memory but are missing a power supply. You will need a PSU with two sli power connectors if you are running dual 8800's. If I may make a suggestion though. They have 9800's now. When you buy dual video cards you are paying for two cards but only getting 1.2 cards. A 20% increase is all you get with a second card. So you are paying a lot of money for two cards in 8800 when you could just buy one 9800, save a bunch of money and have better graphics then with the duel 8800 cards. If you must get dual cards then get dual 9800's Then you will have 20% better video than most people.
