1. Hi Steph First hand, remove all the old software COMPLETELY and power on your scanner but, disconnect the usb cable from it. Now , start your installation and wait for the install program to tell you to plug in your usb cable. Do it and the installation will complete itself. Reboot and now, windows will find your scanner and complete the installation. OPen Photoshop or the software that came with it, press acquire or scan and it should work.
