Do the HP laptop webcams have the same functions as the MacBook laptop webcams?

I found a HP laptop that I really like but I also like the MacBook The HP is cheaper but it basically now comes down to my question. Do the HP laptop webcams have the same functions as the MacBook laptop webcams? Anybody know? Any help is much appreciated. THANKS!

1. no, with a macbook webcam you can take funky pictures with a wide variety of formats and colors, they have better quality, you can take videos, they have a mic built in. you can even be on like the moon or a rollercoaster with the rollercoaster moving in the background. THERE AWESOME.
2. It probably depends on the laptop you buy, but from my experience they are just as good. On macs there is "photobooth" where you can add special effects and such but on HP there is YOUcam where you can do the same thing and even add frames and such. It depends on personal preference, but I think they are both equally awesome. Hope I helped!
