Dell or Hp Laptop???

I went to circuit city and best buy...circuit city carried hp and they said hp works very well and its cheaper than dell then I went to best buy and they carried dell. I want a cheap laptop that has enough memory to play the upcoming sims 3(coming out in February(: And ive narrowed downed my brands... so DELL OR HP .cheap .can play sims3 if im getting dell or hp im getting a 3 gb for suuuuure

1. hp> dell has too many problems make you get 3gb ram when you buy
2. Go with HP. Dell laptops have problems

4. dont know about hp. I like the way Dell operates. They work on a direct marketing model, so they seem to save money on keeping the supplychain happy. So they would have more money to invest on the product and research. HP has to keep their supply chain happy.
