City of heroes laptop and archtypes?
This is a two part question. What would be a good HP laptop that has the ability to play city of heroes at a good level and costs under $1000 and available at a store such as walmart, bestbuy, or circuit city. also what types of powers do peacebringers and warshades have(scrapper, troller, blaster,or tank)

- How about if I just answer the CoH part of the question? Peacebringers and Warshades are not any of those ATs. They are Kheldians. Some people say that playing a Kheld is CoH in Hard Mode. Some people also say Jack-of-all-trades, master of none. A Kheld introduces a new aspect (and indeed, if you are to be successful, they DEMAND): "Form" management. Each has three "Forms" available to it. The human form, the Nova form (some people call the squid form), and the Dwarf form (some call the crab). Each of these forms has inherent powers. The human form, especially in PB, is most scrapper-like. The Nova, in either PB or WS is most blaster-like. The Dwarf is most tank-like. You have to master switching effeciently between forms. And you have LOTS of powers that you wish you could put enhancement slots in. You get the same number of slots throughout your career, but WAY more powers among which to divide them. If you have a slot enhanced in one form, it does you no good at all while you are playing in another form. More than you wanted to know. I hope at least I answered some portion of your question. Good Luck!
- No laptop under $1000 is going to give you the best CoH experience, but I have played successfully, albeit on a low graphic setting, on my HP DV2415nr I got at Best Buy about a year ago. You will want a mouse to play. The touch pad is pretty tough to use in this game. Kheldians are similar, but different from the regular ATs. They are tanks in dwarf form and blasters in nova form. Peacebringers are like scrappers with a couple blasts while in human form. Warshades are like controllers with blasts while in human form. Both can be hard to play, but are very rewarding in the end. A well built level 50 Warshade can easily solo 8-man team mobs. There are some nice buffs coming in issue 13 for Kheldians too. The Official City of Heroes Forums would be a great place for more information. http://boards.cityofheroes.com/ubbthreads.php
