how do i scan on a hp photo printer thingy with a scanner on it?

i just got a new scanner. those hp printer photo kind where its a printer scanner copier and stuff. im tring to scan a document so it would come up on the computer so i can photoshop it and change the words. yeah how do i do this

you need to install the cd that came with the printer. once you do, there will most likely be a program called image zone. go into that. you can choose the option to scan in the program. once it scans you can just save the image to any folder and then edit it.
You need to, like, you know, read the thingy it comes with. Manual, yeah one of them. It will have, like all the info type stuff you need. IF that is you can manage to read sentences without "like" and "thing" scattered randomly throughout it
have you tried the scanner and camera wizard? click start, click printers and faxes, click scanners and cameras, double click image scanner device (scanner and camera wizard pops up) follow instructions from there. also, you may need to download and install the latest printer software/driver for your computer operating system at http://www.hp.com/#Support good luck!
