I have used non genuine ink cartridges in my photosmart 2575 all-in-one, now it does not display the ink level?
Is there any way you can reset or confuse a HP Photosmart 2575 All-in-One into thinking a genuine HP ink cartridge as been installed instead of a cheaper replacement. These ink cartridges are brand new not refills.

- they do not have the chip installed that tells you how full it is, thats one of the reasons they are cheaper . you can refill them yourself . just get a refill kit for next to nothing. you will never get them to say full as the chip will have died when it hits empty.
- thats odd. it should be working alright, unless the ones u bought are corrupt or something. Check whether you installed them properly
- Your printer may not recognize the correct ink levels because it is holding the memory from the previously used cartridges. However, a printer reset should resolve the recognition problem. To reset your printer please follow these instructions: • Remove ALL cartridges • Turn off printer • Unplug the printer from the power source for a full 5 minutes • Reverse steps. Plug back in, turn on printer and install all cartridges
