Advice needed on Dell Color Laser printer 1320c?

having just recieved a new printer as above,i have installed it to the letter but it will not print,i get a slight purring for about 10 seconds then nothing,i have no error lights showing,i have tried it with cable and wireless but no go,any ideas guys.thanks in advance, bronco.

1. Did you get an errors when you installed the drivers? Did it print the test page at the end of the install? Does the printer show up in the control panel? --Please add any additional details. Will update if you do.
