Plotter HP DesignJet 500?

Hey guys... Any body can help About warning message "Printhead warning. Poor print quality.", how can i fix that?

  1. That means that that your print head is nearing the end of it's service life. The print heads to that machine are consumable parts and come at a cost of about $40 each. Your printer takes a number 11 print head, you should be able to buy these from staples or most cartridge stores (it may be a special order). Refer to your manual about how to remove and replace the print head.

  3. previous answers are correct, however this is a recommended service life message, and if your on the cheap i would ignore it until print quality is actually affected. HP want your money. There is no problem with the printhead until you can see one.
