i have a hp designjet 800 42" and i am using autocad 2007 , i cant send a plot with gradiant hatch?

  1. How is the hatch printing? If it's printing black, there is a number of possible causes.. 1. Make sure that on the .ctb or .stb pen table that you are using, the color of the gradient hatch object is not set to print "black" 2. Make sure that the plotter is not configured to print "all black" in the printing preferences (both from AutoCAD and from Control Panel>Printers and Faxes)
  2. another suggestion... make sure your hatch is NOT on on a layer named 'defpoints', because that layer has a specific purpose in AutoCAD, and will not plot.
