For a $1000US which laptop supplies the best international warranty Toshiba or HP ?

1. I have a toshiba affter a year they would not help. my sound card is broke. Im trying HP next .
2. $1000!? I have a perfectly brand new Acer Aspire 5100 for sale that only costs $600 if your interested. It has an AMD 64bit 2.0ghz Tiburon processor. But if Acer isnt your thing I would go with HP. They will long outlast Toshiba, no doubt about that.
