Is the Sony digital camera DSC-W50 charger and USB cords compatible with other sony digital cameras?

By USB camera cord I mean the end that connects to the camera, not the end that connects to the computer. I realise that the USB port is universal, it's the camera end that I want to know if it is universal too

1. Maybe. I say this because there are at least three different USB to camera cords. The USB/computer end is universal, but the USB to camera can be very different. Solution? Buy a USB card reader and leave the cameras out of the loop all together.
2. The USB cords are all the same> The chargers differ depending on the type of battery (Lithium Ion etc.)
