HP 1250n power supply?

I have HP Pavillion 1250n and i have to upgrade my graphic card, but they also said that I have to upgrade my power supply as well. I asked for the power supply and they said it was 85 dollars. I mean, I can get better ones at newegg.com for 20 dollars. DOES IT HAVE TO BE FROM HP?

1. no it doesnt it just has to fit the power supply area and if it doesnt just modify the case I did not want to buy mines from dell because it was too expensive so I went to ebay and got a very good cheap refurbished power supply Ive been using for a year and a half The size specs fit so I bought it but the mounting was different So I bought some metal pieces and attached them to the area then I made a small hole the size of the screws the power supply needed to be mounted. then I mounted the power supply in the case. the holes I drilled perfectly fit the screws and the new power supply fit nicely where the old one was. so do this: measure your current power supply and Find out its size then go to ebay or newegg look at the pictures and see if there is a way you can mount it. then when it arrives take it to a store tell them what you need done most likey they can do it for you if they cant or they dont understand ask them if there is another way to mount it if they dont know then you will need to do it your self but its not very hard to do if you decide to do it your self email me and i will tell you how.
