HP designjet printers ink supplies are consistent, roll to roll, cartridge to cartridge.?

that's instruction on HP printer, but i dont know what does that mean and i need to know urgently. Thanks.i need your clear explaination and help. thanks!

  1. Urgently? Anyhow, they're saying that their cartridges are better than any others that might fit the printer. I have found that I have fewer problems sticking to their cartridges.

This statement basically means that using original HP designjet ink cartridges, you get consistently good print quality even when you change cartridges. If you use non-originals, the quality isnt assured because of lack of quality controls, different dye loads in different brands, etc. Roll-to-roll refers to the type of paper used in Designjets. They come in the form of rolls (like big toilet paper rolls) that fit into these printers, not pieces of A4 or Letter size, so again it's a reference to the consistency of quality.
