What should you do with the empty toner cartridge from a laser printer?
A. Deposit it in a municipal trash bin. B. Refill it with general-purpose toner. C. Return it to the manufacturer for recycling. D. Send it to a standard plastic recycling center.

- E. Bring it back to the store and put it in their toner recycling box when you buy the new one.
- If you can refill it, go ahead and save $. I refilled brother hl-2040 cartridges for $5 (instead of $30+ for a remanufactured or $60 for new), HP 1018 for $10, and Ricoh CL1000N for $50 (instead of almost $200).
- Actually if you have a Staples store anywhere near you, you can take it there and recycle it. They give you a $3 coupon that you can use towards anything there or on a new cartridge. Pretty good deal.
