Which is better: the new Hp laptops or the sony vaio cr?? Help please!!?

I can't decide between the Hp pavilion laptop and the sony vaio cr (the one with the different colour selections that look like a macbook). They are both within the $800-$1000 price range.

1. Sony is best in every electronic. Its has good reputation than Hp. Go for Sony Vaio.
2. I just bought a hp pavillion dv6626us i like it. I did want the sony but they were sold out.
3. I've always has Sony laptops and they are great :) Although lately new HP laptops have come so far with cool features. My gf has a HP and she likes it. I think sony's generally have better quality video. said that... They are both good brands. compare the features vs brands and buy the best for the money. :) good luck.
