Are these good laptops?
I'm looking for a laptop for everyday use. I'm going to be a senior in HS and I'm going into Graphic Designs after HS. I know that I should get a macbook or an apple laptop, but i don't like how they operate for everyday use. So I'm thinking that i'll buy a laptop PC now and get a mac when i enter college. I've got it narrowed down to these two laptops: http://www.officemax.com/omax/catalog/sku.jsp?skuId=21670719&searchString=hp%20laptops&category_Id=null and http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8776149&type=product&id=1204332255236 I'm leaning towards the one on officemax.com but I'm not sure yet. How are these computers considering memory, accessories, and other features? Please let me know ASAP and if there's any other better laptops out there for a good price! Thanks! and also... with the ones mentioned, is microsoft works included?

- OfficeMax.
- I love my macbook and imovie and idvd work well
- I like Dell better. But beware of Best Buy. For a good Dell http://www.dell.com/content/products/features.aspx/laptops_great_deals?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs I have the Inspirion 1525
- Yes. Both of those laptops would be suitable for your Senior year of HS but if you are planning on buying a mac for college next year it would be a very smart decision to save your self some money and buy a MacBook now and run Windows Vista or XP. I don't know if you knew you could run both Mac OS X Leopard and Windows at the same time but FYI you can and its not near as difficult as you may think. Just call Mac at 1800MYAPPLE and they'll help you figure it out or go to this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1461 This would allow you to use the old interface you've probably grown to know and love but also learn the Mac interface for college with out "Blowing" money. Hope this helps! GOOD LUCK P.S. If you don't get a mac now get the hp! Dell Stinks!
