- not enough information but from what you have i think it maybe just on the line of playable. however i do not know what graphics card you have and if CNET is right you should have the intel graphics accelerator which will most likely not work for crysis.
- You can install crysis and then it will auto-sense the best settings for graphics for your system. I can tell you that to run crysis at 1680 x1050 with any of the settings cranked up on my home computer is very choppy and I have a ati HD3870. I have a 3.2Ghz processor and 4Gigs of 1067DDR2 so on any laptop without a really good graphic card you may need to use that auto-sensing function and stick to those settings. Its still a really fun and playable game at a lower resolution
- He can't. I've checked all the specs of his comp. He has asked 3 times now, and I keep saying that he can't play it. Reason: Intergrated graphics card and too little RAM. Ask one more time and I report your account. Your laptop is junk for gaming. Intel 950 media card. Notice, it isn't even a graphics card :) A media card made for media, not games. Crysis requires a good PC, which you don't have. And a good graphics card. Your video card is one of the worst out there, and you keep spamming. And you need atleast 2GB RAM to play Crysis playable. Here's the proof: CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista), Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista), AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or better RAM: 1GB (1.5GB on Windows Vista) Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 Pro for Vista) or better VRAM: 256MB of Graphics Memory Storage: 12GB Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible ODD: DVD-ROM OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Vista DirectX: DX9.0c or DX10 He got 65MB graphics memory. And you need 256MB. His processor is too slow, and not enough RAM. And this is the MINIMUM requirements, means what you need to play it. Doesn't mean it will run playable. He doesn't got the X3100, he got Intel 950, much worse.
- Plenty of info for me to tell you that it won't run properly. You will have to turn down the texture quality quite a bit. However the previous user did make a good point; your video card will limit you very much. Your video card happens to be an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, which isn't exactly the best for 3D, let alone CRYSIS. If you are going to attempt to run it, I suggest you close a lot of the programs that are running on the background. Close all windows and basically everything else not being used/not required for the game to run. Good luck!
- You will need a nVidia 8600M series to play crysis. Anything less won’t play it well, you can run it on a 8400M but with low detail and resolution, not a very good gaming experience tho.... However, If you have an integrated GMA X3100 card, then don’t even think about it…
