How do you fix the Dell 1720dn laser printer?

The printer is printing an error page stating "the photoconductor kit has reached the end of its useful life" Help please!!!

1. you need a new drum kit I don't know the printer so I don't know if it is a drum for life. Some printers need a workshop to replace them but most are fitted by the user
