Errors at the print que on Vista Home... New driver install, HELP!?
Hi, I just got a new HP laptop with Vista Home edition. I have it plugged into a docking station and am hard wired to a router, then to my (older) Konica-Minolta 5430 DL color laser printer (wireless configurations come later). I was able to go through the recommended manufacturer processes to install the Vista drivers I downloaded (the original install CD was only for XP). I even got to print a test page. Unfortunately, now when I try to print a web page from IE or Firefox, the page goes to the print que and errors out. Any idea what is going on? Thanks! -M

- I do not know from where you downloaded drivers. See this link http://printer.konicaminolta.com/support/current_printers/mc5430dl_sup.htm Your test page is printing means you seem to have installed correct driver. Try printing some word document from hard disk. If that prints well then problem is not with printer. In case it does not then try this driver or contact them online directly on this link. http://kmbs.konicaminolta.us/content/faqs/faqdetail.html?Id=4891 In case printer is good i.e. nicely working then you must have tried to print a web page which is .asp or .jsp format. Such pages are produced dynamically and many such are not compitable to printing. Some like your emails are not designed for printing. So they will create a blank page even if u try to save/print them. So try printing normal page like basic pages of any sites like yahoo.com. I think this should work. One way of printing such things is to select all. Then copy and paste them in word file and then print them from there. I hope you got ur answer. Thank you.
