I my printer tells me that it does not recognize ink cartridge. How do I override this? Epson color R200 prinr

Ihave used clone ink cartridges for over 2 years. and now it tells me that it does not recognize the cartridge. How do I over ride this. I have a Epson Stylus color R200. this has happened in the past but do not remember how i fixed it. Any help will be appreciated.

1. your printer print head might be defected. coz your using unoriginal consumables.. if a deep cleaning doesn't work .. i guess you'll have to change your priny head. regards, A.K.A CCI products specialest
2. You can't. The chip is most likely faulty on the cartridge. You need to take it back to the re tailor and get and exchange. You could try having the chip reset. Most places that refill cartridges do have epson chip re-setters, however that is unlikely to help. Before you do go to the effort of taking it out, install and install the cartridges, sometimes that helps. (note only do this if the cartridge is defective, it may cause chip problems in an already functioning cartridge)
