printing pics off Epson Stylus Color 600?

Have Epson Stylis Color 600 printer - put 4X6 photo paper in but when it prints the pics are reddish pink and have vertical lines all the way across? Need to do something special? I am not a coomputer guru and need all the help I can get!

1. I have an Epson; biggest mistake of my life! Your printer should have come with software to clean and align the printer heads. If the software got lost, you can download it from the Epson web site. Good luck and buy a HP as soon as you can.
2. You just have a clogged print head. It is no big deal. Run a few print head/nozzle cleanings and you will be fine. If I were you I would stick with that printer, the cartridges are cheap, and it is overall a good printer.
