I have a hp laser jet 2600n, it printing good on normal paper but on on gloss, tough, cardboard paper. Some part print good and other parts dont. I am trying to print call cards and it just not printing good. What can i do? What causes this. and plus the paper type is correct.

  1. From my own personal experience, are you using the right toner cartiage?? I know the 2600N will print on normal paper quite good using a normal toner cartiage. We currently have this type of printer in one of the accounting office (it's a 2600n). in order to print on check's (much thicker stock than normal printer paper) it requires special toner cartiage. (micro dot ink) What i'd suggest is reading the manual, or calling hp customer support line Tell them what kind of paper stock you are using, and see what they suggest for a toner cartiage.
