I bought a HP Pavilion dv2700t SE laptop from Best Buy not too long ago. What upgrades can I make to it?
As of right now I have: 4 gb of RAM 250 gb Hard Drive Web Camera What can I buy to make it better and more fun (i.e., faster, more memory, better sound/graphics card)? What exactly would I have to buy and where can I find it? I have no preference in buying it online or in the store. Just knowing what to buy and where is the important part for me. I spent over $1,000 for the computer itself and the 3-year warranty that covers everything. I'm looking to spend anywhere from another $500 - $1500 on some more "goodies". Thanks!

- u already have the max RAM - laptops usually support up to 4 gb. your hard drive is good too. I am not sure whether u can change this, but i don't see any point unless u start running out. u can't make it faster unless u change procesor and this can't happen. for a regular laptop this is already as good as it gets. there are some bussiness laptops that can have higher specs. you might be able to get a better graphics card but I am not suer aobut that..
- You can buy a few aftermarket "goodies" One would be a usb fingerprint reader. Can be found on bestbuy.com. It just scans your finger for access to login, website passwords and more! Also, you can pick up and external HDD to store music ect on to take a little bit of the load off your computer and help it run smoother. A good graphics card upgrade can help as well. Bestbuy sells a nice docking station for the HP laptops. It is known as the Notebook Expansion base. Runs for about $250 and helps keep your cords organized and increases mobility. Most of this stuff can be found on ebay.com and If you know how to, you can install all on your own.
