- (PC2-5300)
- 1) Depends on the model of the dv6000, it's most likely PC2-5300. Check your model number, and then check on the HP website for the specifications to find out what kind of RAM it actually uses, and the max amount of RAM you can use. 2) You can't upgrade the video card on your laptop, sorry.
- DDR2. The one I had had 2GB of RAM. If you're struggling with games look at graphics cards from Nvidia. http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8600M.html . I put XP pro on mine but just didn't like it. I like Dell too much. Here's a link to a review I had. http://www.pcmech.com/article/hp-pavilion-dv6000-notebook-review/
- i have dv6000 also, 32-bit..windows vista.. the ram is 2G,,and i think it's enough for a 32-bit OS..regarding the graphic card, u cant do anything about it, it's built-in with the motherboard..u can try an external graphic accelerator..it's kinda new in the market.
