should I buy a Laptop online or at store? which one is cheaper? Please help me ASAP!?

im looking for eaither HP or Gateway! which one and what model is better for some thing between $650 to $850

7. Well,I dunno about models,but if you want one for cheap than go onto www.amazon.com and search up laptop,then once you find the model you want click the link that says used and new,then click used,you could probably find one for cheap that way.

9. go for an HP. they will last longer and will give you a hell of a lot of less problems than a gateway. But the best way to get a cheap pc is to do you reasearch and compare prices. doesn't matter where you get it from as long as you compare stores and prices.
10. I would agree to go with the online purchase. However, it is true that best buy does have some pretty good deals and in the long run you are buying from a company that is resputable. I would honestly go with HP, Dell, or a Sony Vaio. HP's are really cool and so are Dells because they are cheaper. Some of the Sony's are cool too but they don't have as much bells and whistles. There is also Acer as an alternative however, have known some friends who have had issues with their Acer laptops.

I used to work at a company where they were the middle men for selling computers and computer products to large companies and I was told by many people there to buy on line at Dell and that's what I did and I was able to get a great price, better then anywhere that I had looked. This was about 4 years ago, but I don't think it has changed that much. We have never had a problem with our computer and when we do have little issues then we call them. They have a number to call where they help people who purchased a Dell computer with any kind of issues. We were looking at Gateway and HP, but I was told not to go to them. I was told to go to only Dell. Good Luck, I hope you find what your looking for.
14. I say go to the store and buy one right then and there. You don't have to wait for the computer to come in and you can buy a protction warrenty if you like. Another bonus is you can talk to someone who knows what they are talking about most of the time. You can even return the system if you have a problem with it buring the first 10-14 days according to the stores return policy.
