Can i return an item i bought at HP store online and return it to one of its retailers like walmart?
Yeah so i bought this thing from the HP online store and its not working but i dont want to go thrrough the hassle of packaging it and getting return numbers and stuff so is it possible to return it to one of its retailers such as wal-mart and bestbuy? Well i have the packaging slip and receipt inside the box they shipped it to me, so would that work as a receipt?

- Best Buy is really picky!!! They probably wolnt take it back, especially if its considered an electronic. If you took it to walmart, you need to make sure they sell it. If you don;t have a reciept with your return (obviously you dont have one cuz you didnt buy it there) you might be able to return it but only get store credit to that particular store. I also would be careful, this may be illegal and if you get caught returning something they dont sell then they might do something about it! I wouldnt recomend it, but if you really want to.
- if you lie about it you possibly could, but you would most likely get an in store credit...you have to understand these store first buy the items from the manufacturer so if you were a consumer and tried to return the item you need a proof of purchase otherwise they have no way of knowing you bought it from them, if your proof of purchase shows it was purchased from another place they will absolutely not take it
- No, you're wasting your time trying that. Instead, contact HP and see if you can return it to their local service provider.
- nope if you bought at hp store online ..you wont be able to return at walmart.you can return almost anything at walmart but there are certain rules at walmart with electronics....and the other thing is that if an item doesnt show up in their system...there is no way they can give you money for something they dont sell.
