- Looks good to me.
- very good pc for 700$
- yea it's a good computer for most. It's hard to say whether it's right for you since I don't know what your trying to do. If it's just a home computer it's great. If you want to play online games you might want to consider getting a better one, or atleast updating the graphics and sound card. Maybe a better mouse to.
- If you are using this computer for basic usage and nothing too technical this is a great deal. HPs generally run very well.
- for $704 for the specs you listed i think that is cheap. blu-ray dvd writer already cost about $200 and the OS is about $170. dont worry about the modem, modems are not very expensive. if you will buy a modem for your that you may also want to add a LAN or WLAN.
- It sounds like it is a good deal, but is it new or used? You also need to know if it has antivirus and ani-spyware installed. If it doesn't you will have to install them, I am assuming that it doesn't since you mention $10 off Norton Internet Security. The no modem thing caught my eye. I am not a computer whiz, so maybe someone more computer savvy can answer that question, but I always assumed that you needed a modem to hook up to the internet. Now days it probably has a wireless network card, but I didn't see that in the specs. For the price that you quoted I would not buy it unless it was new. You can find advertised deals with printers for almost the same price. I highly recommend that you have it optimized (cleaned). HP is famous for burying all those annoying little hidden pop-up advertising programs and the optimization will remove most of them, ie. AOL, MSN, etc.
- Dude this Desktop with this price is FANTASTIC. A very good ADSL modem with wireless router is 150 dollar(the best ones) but ther blu-ray disk write + the windows are 400 dollar so even if you want to buy a printer and a scaner (togather they will be 200 dollars) you can get a very very good PC with 1050 dollars I say buy it ASAP and give me the place you want to buy it maybe i can buy one too!!!
