What kind of Secure Digital card should I buy for my HP Photosmart M525 digital camera?

I realize that HP sells one, but I'm sure I don't have to use its brand, which seems overpriced. I'm looking for a 1GB card with the fastest data transfer speed possible, and there is nothing in the user guide or on the HP Web site about maximum data transfer speed for the M525. HP's 1GB Secure Digital card says only that it has a "high transfer rate."

  1. Any brand will do. And transfer time is quick on any one. HP & Kodak brands are expensive. Other brands like san disk, lexar & toshiba work just as well. Don't bother with a 256 or 512MB. Get a 1GB almost anywhere for $20.00
  2. Any brand will do, the formats are standardized Data transfer speed really doesn't matter much (except for the price). The speed at which images are stored by your camera are pretty much limited by the camera itself.
  3. sandisk sd go to shopzilla.com for a good price
  4. well: get 1gb " Photo Memory Card installed into your Digital Camera " that stores 70 picts ok ?
