I have a question about An HP Digital Camera & when the pictures develope.?
My Nanny has an HP Digital Camera, and it takes nice pictures. When we go to get them developed it will cut like most of the top of the picture off. For instance, she took some Christmas Pictures a while back at christmas, and everyones heads were cut off when developed. They appear quite a distance from the top in the digital camera preview given. How can we prevent this, or what is going on. We get them developed at samsclub also. Please reply soon.

- If you're only viewing them on camera itself, then I'd suggest loading them onto your computer and seeing what they look like there. Secondly, has this only happened with one batch of pictures taken or mulitple? It could also be the developer (Sams Club), you could try somewhere else.
- see if you can but the camera in Postcard Mode.. and a good guide to follow is to allow some space in the viewfinder to compensate for the cutting off.. if there is a way to put it on 1600 X 1200 resolution that will help
- The cropping is due to the difference in aspect ratio - a digital photo typically has a 4:3 (similar to a standard definition TV screen) whereas most photos are printed at these common sizes 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10. A way to avoid cutting off the tops of peoples heads in the printed photo is to keep the above in mind and leave some extra space at the edges.
- it is normal. use the viewfinder in your digicam instead the lcd.
