How can I transfer pics from my HP digital camera to a CD using Windows Vista?

I just upgraded to Windows Vista; but I cannot transfer the pics on my Digital Camera to a CD. It use to be so easy when I was uising Windows XP. Upon connecting my digital camera to the PC, I would automatically get the option to transfer the pics with prompts from the computer. Now an "Auto Play" window appears with 2 choices( Import Pictures and Open decive to view files). Upon choosing "Import" I get a message. The following error occured while importing....Please help, it use to be so easy and USER FRIENDLY with WindowsXP.
