what are the best cheap digital cameras?

I'm looking on ebay for an affordable (no more than $200) digital camera. I know nothing about different camera brands or features or whatever. I dont really care about special features either, i just want it to take nice pictures. Anything anyone could suggest?

1. Canon makes Powershot cameras at almost every price point, and from I've heard, they are excellent.
2. read the reviews on the Canon A570. it's under 200 and is very popular right now. But the top brands are Nikon and Canon...other good brands are Panasonic, Fuji, Kodak, and Olympus.
3. nekon , made in china is the cheapest camera around .with 125 dollars around u can get 7 megapixels and with 200 dollars the better . ithink it will be best 4 u
4. ok a baci rule of thumb when buying a camra is u dont need any more mega pixles than 5 or 5.5 thats the best u need and with almost any digital camra u will need a memory card the chepist of thes is the sd card wich is the most comon so when buying your camra try to get one with an sd card slot and with any memory the biger the better i use an sd card that 2gb it was the best i could afored at the time so u will want a camra thats 5 or 5.5 mega pixsles that great size u dont need any more if u buy one with more all u r doing is wasting your monny then u will want to spend the rest of your monny on a memory card that is as big as u can afored (do not worry on brands witha memory card ) o and one last thing i would not sigest ebay for buying a camra because the are used and most pepole drop them i would go to a store like frys electronice or best buy or even wall mart when buy ing a camra its your best bet to not litent to the selles pepole because thell tell u that the more mega pixeles the better but that is simply not true . i hope this helps if u need more advise or if u need me to better explain it u can email me at fauxminer@yahoo.com o and good luck
