How reliable is user review information for digital cameras?

I come across an Australian user review digital camera website at http://www.cheap-digital-camera.com.au How reliable is user review information in purchasing a digital camera?

1. user reviews are exactly that users opinions , no different than answers given here, take from them what you want then verify it
2. If Sony is a 10, Canon is 8.5.....Kodak is a 5 or lower...Fuji a 6...the rest <5...even Nikon digital is a 6 or lower in my personal experience.
