Which brand of SD Memory card is best for digital cameras?
Is there a particular brand of SD memory card that is reliable for a digital camera? Need one that will allow me to take pictures fast and not have to wait before taking another. Thanks.

- the one you can buy at the time all are good not one is bad and one is good their all good
- Sandisk is one of the best. They make MP3 players as well and are just as good as any ipod. I have never had a problem with any of my Sandisk cards and they are usually on sale at best buy or circuit city for around $50 for a 1gb card.
- Brands aren't that important, but I would stick with name brands. Lexar, Memorex, SanDisk - these are the most popular. There are likely more popular brands. Check this wikipedia site about SD cards:
- Stick with SanDisk, Lexar, or Kingston. Standard SD cards write at around 4-5MB/s. Unless you have a Nikon dSLR, your card isn't slowing down the photos. It is your camera/camera settings. SanDisk sells Ultra II SD cards which write at 9-10MB/s and are excellent when shooting multi-bursts on a Nikon dSLR.
