Will you help me figure out if this laptop will let me do the following things?

Can you let me understand all this technical stuff, specifcally, if this computer will allow me to do any or all of the following: 1) Listen to CDs 2) Burn CDs 3) Watch a DVD 4) Plug in a Microphone 4 voice chat 5) Plug in a camcorder. 1. The manual says yes.
2. It sounds like you have a DVD writer in your laptop. If not, it might require the docking station. Sonic Digital Media should allow you to do #1 and 2. WinDVD will let you play a DVD. You can do 1-3 with what you have installed. You don't list a microphone port, so you can't plug in a mic. However, it sounds like your laptop has a mic for #4. You can plug in a camcorder to the firewire port-- providing your camcorder has one. (#5)
3. What brand it is ? go to their website . For dvd movies you need dvd drive if it is only cd you are out of luck. or if it is cd/dvd combo you will be able to watch dvd 's but not burn them
4. all the new laptops come with a dvd drive or burner, so yes you can do everything in your list on it including hook up a camera to it..
5. If it has a DVD drive then yes. If not it can do all the other stuff.
