  1. Try unpluging your modem from the wall and everything eles. and turn off your computer. both for 30 min.
  2. if you have no access to the internet then you wouldn't be able to ask this question.
  3. Call your ISP, that's what they do.
  4. Hey I had the same problem 2 weeks ago the ONLY way to resolve it is to reboot your computer. make sure the disk is in then turn on your pc and it should let you reboot
  5. could be a few things, have you checked your firewall settings? have u rebooted the modem?
  6. when you did ipconfig/release did you also do ipconfig/renew? also check your dns settings, it should be optain IP address automatically
  7. If I’m reading your question correctly, and I’m not sure I am, you accidentally did a system restore. If this is the case. Try this, if not sorry for bothering you. System restore can be undone just go to system restore and choose undo previous.
  8. looks like you may have to format your hd and reinstall your windows sorry, put your windows disc into the cd drive then switch pc off, turn back on and it should say press any key to boot from disc, press a key and follow instructions for doing a fresh install, make sure you format the partition to clear the hd of any data, it will say press any key to boot from disc again, dont press any keys this time or you will be back to the beginning again, after this is done you will need to install all the drivers, they will be on a seperate disc that you will have got with the windows disc when the pc was new. good luck
