This has built in wireless, so you can connect to the internet from another computer that has a wireless router. As for extras, id get a cordless mouse and usb flash drive. (they are both very handy)
Looks like a decent laptop, should be fine for the everyday person. You don't need a wireless router, but it is highly highly recommended. Go onto the laptop, find the network enter your WEP and have fun. PS. As said above, i would also suggest a wireless mouse and USB drive for easy file transfer.
